Eierhäuschen

Dating back to the 19th century, Eierhäuschen was a popular restaurant with outdoor bowling alley, hundreds of seats on the Spree, its own ferry connection and space for music and dancing. Today's restored structure traces its origins to 1892 and reopened its doors in March 2024. Now the Eierhäuschen as heart of Spreepark Art Space is a place for artist exhibitions, residencies and reflection, as well as a beer garden and a restaurant.

Living and working quarters for the residents are located in the upper level, allowing them to deeply engage with the site from an artistic perspective. The exhibition programme in the Eierhäuschen explores the relationship between art, architecture, nature and public space and makes the different projects and questions that arise in the Spreepark accessible to the visitors.
