Stefan Shankland

Stefan Shankland is a visual artist, researcher and professor at Nantes Université’s architecture school (ENSA Nantes, France). His work explores our complex relationship to a changing world and its “negative heritage”: how to inhabit a troubled and damaged planet inherited after 200 years of intensive extraction of natural resources and exponential waste production.
